A Cameron man was rescued after high waters swept his truck off the road.

Monday afternoon, the Pocola Fire Department conducted a swift-water rescue off Old Highway 112 between Highway 112 and Williams Road.

Reports say a man was driving near the James Fork Creek Bridge near Cameron Friday afternoon when high waters swept his truck off the road.

Images show the water was to the top of the truck’s wheels and that fire crews had to use a boat to rescue the man.
