Thieves Steal Cash From ATM Machine Inside Tulsa Store

Police are investigating the theft of cash from an ATM machine inside a Tulsa Walgreens store early Tuesday.

Officers said the theft happened at the store in the 8100 block of South Yale at around 5 a.m. 

Witnesses told police they saw a white van parked at the store's front door.  They said two men in the van got out, pryed open the door and attempted to pull the ATM machine out the door, but were unsuccessful.  Police did say the thieves did take the bottom portion of the ATM machine which held the cash.

A short time later, officers recovered the white van parked in a nearby apartment complex with the engine still running.  

Police say no one has been arrested.
