There's still no timetable for the possible return of Oklahoma State senior guard Phil Forte.
Forte has the torn ligament in his left elbow. He says he's feeling better, but it's still a matter of pain tolerance and the ability to move that arm and get into game situations with it.
He may not need surgery, so he’s still waiting to see when he might be able to come back for the Cowboys.
OSU welcomed back Tavarius Shine to the lineup in the team’s two-point win over Minnesota in Sioux Falls on Saturday. Shine played 31 minutes and had seven rebounds and a key jumper late in that game that helped seal the victory.
On Tuesday night, OSU will take on Longwood (3-7) at 8:00 p.m.
Although the Lancers are coming off an 18-point loss to Richmond, the team has an offense that's pretty potent, at least by the numbers. After this game, the Cowboys will hit the road once again to play Florida in Miami on Saturday.
