Tulsa Business Offers Christmas Light Tours While Giving Back To The Community

A local organization is offering Christmas light tours from the skies while also giving back to the community. 

Tulsa County Helicopters hosted its first annual "Tulsa Flying for our Families" event on Saturday. 

People wanting to take a helicopter tour of Green Country Christmas light displays were able to drop off donations including toys, money or other gifts in exchange for a tour discount. 

The donations will go towards benefitting Tulsa's Family Children Services.

"Its feel very good for us and our small business to be able to give back to the community," said flight coordinator Becky Woodward. "We're very proud to be able to do that here at Tulsa County Helicopters."

The group will also be holding another donation drop off event next Sunday at Tulsa Hills.
