Natural Gas Service Restored To Most Customers In Town Of Delaware

Most customers in the town of Delaware in Nowata County had their natural gas service restored after a cold Saturday night. 

ONG spokesperson Cherokee Ballard says the issue was with a third-party distributor's line. The problem has forced service to be shut off Delaware.

A few residents are still without service because they either aren't home to relight or they had a faulty appliance they could not relight, Ballard said.

Crews for the third-party distributor, Southern Star, repaired the line.

Southern Star brought in tanker trucks to serve the town, then ONG stepped in to relight pilot lights, according to Southern Star.
