With the trial of former Tulsa Police officer Shannon Kepler set to begin soon, his attorney and the Tulsa County DA are accusing each other of not turning over documents and other items.
Both sides were in a courtroom Thursday morning. The judge told both sides he wants this issue resolved and ordered both sides back at 1:30 p.m.
The judge told Kepler's attorney, Richard O'Carroll, to provide a specific list of items he is missing. One of those items, according to O'Carroll, is a 911 tape made by Shannon's daughter Lisa Kepler. The DA told the court he's asked EMSA to turn it over by November 30, if it exists.
Shannon Kepler is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of shooting with intent to kill in connection with the August 2014 shooting death of his daughter's boyfriend Jeremey Lake, 19.
