Voters across eastern Oklahoma are headed to the polls Tuesday for several special elections. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and NewsOn6.com will post the results after the polls close Tuesday.

Cherokee County proposition calls for a property tax increase of one mill to construct a new building for the Cherokee County Health Department and to help fund its operations.

Proposition 1 includes improvements to the Vocational and Technology Building with a project cost of $2,200,000. Proposition 2 is Safety and Energy Upgrades with project costs of $2,225,000. Proposition 3 has a projected cost of $500,000 and is for improvements to transportation.
