Tulsa Man Arrested On Outstanding $100,000 Drug Warrant

Police arrested a Tulsa man early Monday after he ran during a traffic stop.

Officers said they had just stopped a car driven by Bobby Schrimsher, 31, for a traffic violation at 21st and 93rd East Avenue at 1:15 a.m. when he jumped out of the car and ran.

Police found Schrimsher about a block away hiding behind an air conditioning unit.

Officers said a check turned up Schrimsher was wanted on a 2013 felony warrant for possession of a controlled substance.  Bond on the warrant was $100,000.

Schrimsher was booked into the Tulsa County jail on the outstanding warrant and complaints stemming from the traffic stop.
