Oklahomans gathered to remember those lost and injured in the OSU Homecoming crash. The Stillwater Strong Memorial Service began at 6 p.m. at Gallagher-Iba Arena on the OSU campus.
The University is held the service to honor the victims of the crash and thanked the many first responders who came to their aide. News On 6 anchor Terry Hood and reporter Allison Harris are both live from Stillwater in our evening newscasts.
After the memorial everyone was invited to stay for a benefit concert, featuring OSU student, and 2015 "Voice" contestant, Corey Kent White.

Four people were killed as a result of the crash and 46 others were injured. Killed were retired OSU Regents professor Marvin Stone; his wife and OSU employee Bonnie Stone; two-year-old Nash (Strauch) Lucas, son of OSU student and employee Nicolette Strauch; and University of Central Oklahoma MBA student Nakita Prabhakar Nakal.
Donations were taken at the concert for the Stillwater Strong Fund established by the Stillwater Medical Center Foundation.
“Following tragedy, it is important to bring people together to not only honor the victims and survivors, but unite as a community to show our support and thank the many people who responded to this horrific event,” said OSU President Burns Hargis.
