Tulsa Murder Suspect Turns Himself In

Tulsa police say a man has turned himself in for the murder of Ronald A. Dinkins. Police say Dinkins was shot by two men trying to get his medication.

Tulsa police say a man has turned himself in for the murder of Ronald A. Dinkins. Edwin Monroe Harris, 19, is in custody Saturday morning, according to Detective Dave Walker, Tulsa Police. 

Dinkins died following a shooting near 31st Street North and Lewis near the Gilcrease Expressway.

TPD said the victim was standing outside a home when people in a red Chevrolet Avalanche came up and attempted to rob him of his medication.When they pulled a gun, the man struggled with them and was shot, TPD said.

Police are still looking for a second suspect, Norman Gaines. They say the Chevrolet Avalanche belongs to him. It has  Oklahoma tag 061 BJV.
