Stuck Semi Closes Sapulpa Intersection

Sapulpa Police said the driver was trying to get back to Interstate 44 at West 96th Street South and Frankoma Road when his trailer failed to make the turn.

A semi wreck closed a Sapulpa intersection early Thursday.

Sapulpa Police said the driver was trying to get back to Interstate 44 at West 96th Street South and Frankoma Road when his trailer failed to make the turn.

The truck's trailer ended up in the ditch with heavy damage.

A wrecker crew worked to remove the semi and trailer to reopen the intersection as quickly as possible.
