Governor Mary Fallin has appointed the Payne County sheriff to serve on the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Commission after Tulsa County Sheriff Stanley Glanz stepped down from the board.
Fallin announced the appointment of Sheriff R.B. Hauf. He'll finish the term of Glanz, who resigned after he was indicted on two misdemeanor counts last month in Tulsa.

Glanz's term on the OSBI commission expires at the end of next year, but Fallin also appointed Hauf to succeed himself to a full seven-year term on the board, which is OSBI's governing body.
Both appointments require state Senate confirmation.
