Teen Driver Hits Tulsa Power Pole

Tulsa police respond to a call and find a car smashed into a utility pole. It happened just before midnight near 81st and Harvard.

Tulsa police say the driver lost control of his car, left the road and then hit the power pole, breaking it in half.

A stretch of 81st between Harvard and Yale was closed as Public Service of Oklahoma workers replaced the line. The 17-year-old driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
