16-Year-Old Bever Brother In Court; Attorney Argues Against Adult Murder Charges

Attorneys representing two brothers accused of killing five members of their Broken Arrow family were in court today.

Michael Bever, 16, and his 18-year-old brother, Robert, are facing adult charges in the stabbing deaths of their parents and three siblings in July.

Michael Bever's attorney is fighting to have him treated as a juvenile.

He filed a motion last week saying Oklahoma's law that treats him as an adult is unconstitutional. The attorneys argued their case and talked to the judge about giving the case more time.

They will continue their arguments on Friday.
