The Claremore community on Saturday rallied around a local 8-year-old boy with a rare disease.

Zip Gorden has FOP, which causes muscles and other tissues to turn to bone.

The fourth annual ZipperQ barbecue was held to raise awareness and money for the fight against the disease.

News On 6 anchor Craig Day filled up on plenty barbecue as a judge for the cook off.
