Broken Arrow Police arrested a Fort Gibson man for robbing a pharmacy with an air soft pistol Tuesday evening.
Officers responded to the Family Drug store in the 3300 block of South Elm Place just before 8:30 p.m. They said a man wearing a disguise walked into the store and pulled a gun.
Police said he got some prescription medication from the pharmacy staff then got into a car and drove off.
Employees gave police a good description of the vehicle and robber. Police stopped the vehicle about a mile from the drug store and arrested the driver. They identified him as James Noblitt, 38.
Police found the stolen medicine, the disguise and an air soft pistol believed used in the robbery in his vehicle.
They booked James Noblitt into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of robbery with a dangerous weapon. Jail records show his bond is $50,000 with a scheduled October 7 court appearance.
Police say no employees were injured.
