Tulsa Police Officer Arrested For DUI Complaint

Owasso Police confirm they arrested a Tulsa Police officer on suspicion of DUI early Saturday.

Owasso's deputy police chief said an officer arrested Shea McClung, 41, of Sperry after he spotted a truck she was driving make a U-turn in the 500 block of East 2nd Street.

When the officer stopped her, he stated he also smelled alcohol and asked her to submit to a sobriety test, which she declined.

McClung was booked into the Tulsa County jail on the DUI complaint and an unsafe lane use.

Jail records show she has a court appearance set for October 2.

McClung has been with the Tulsa Police Department for almost ten years. The department said she's been placed on restricted duty.
