Vinita Prison Escapee Recaptured

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has recaptured an inmate who walked away from state correctional facility in Vinita Thursday.  

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections say Jason Bell, 21, was reported missing Thursday.  He was serving a five year sentence for a 2013 second-degree burglary conviction out of Harmon County.

A trooper spotted Bell walking along Interstate 44 near Vinita Thursday evening and placed him into custody.
