Tulsa Police Identify Victim In City's 43rd Homicide

The Tulsa Police Department has released the name of the victim in the city’s 43rd homicide.

The Tulsa Police Department has released the name of the victim in the city’s 43rd homicide.

Police said 29-year-old Damon Dyer was found shot several times in the chest on Sunday, September 20, 2015.

They said it happened just before 8:00 p.m.

Dyer was in his Yukon near Hartford Avenue and Mohawk Boulevard when police say he was shot by someone in a large, white car that resembled a Crown Victoria. They said Dyer’s vehicle crashed into a parked car.

Police said Dyer was taken to St. John Hospital in “grave condition,” and was declared brain dead Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

Tulsa police are still investigating the case and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
