Police arrested a homeless man they say burglarized a Tulsa apartment while the residents were asleep.
Officers says they were called to the Knollwood Apartments in the 1000 block of South 107th East Avenue at about 1:45 a.m.
The victim said she woke up to find a man standing at the foot of her bed. Police said she screamed and the man ran out of the apartment.
Police say there were five people in the apartment at the time, three of whom were children. No one was injured. The victim told police the man was wearing a red polo shirt and blue jeans.
Police searched the apartment complex and found the man hiding in a vacant apartment. They also recovered the items reported stolen from the apartment.
The identify the man as Shannon Reed, 33.
They booked Reed into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of first-degree burglary and public intoxication. Jail records show he is being held on a $20,200 bond with a court appearance set for September 24.
