A tour of historic homes in the Brady Heights district is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 27. The tour includes 12 homes and costs $10 for age 12 and older. Children under 12 can tour for free.
Some of the homes included in the tour are the Brady Mansion at 620 North Denver Avenue, the Curtain Home at 902 North Denver Avenue and the site of the Reuter Murder of 1912, 625 North Cheyenne Avenue. It's being organized by the Brady Heights Historic District of Tulsa.
One of the homes, at 1011 N. Cheyenne Avenue, is a verified Craftsman Style Sears Catalog home in the Hazelton style, according to a news release.
Tickets can be purchased on site at the tour's starting point, the Centenary United Methodist Church at 631 N. Denver Avenue. A group rate of $25 is available for groups of three people.
