Gas Leak Forces Evacuations At Tulsa Building

Emergency crews had to briefly evacuate a Tulsa building Thursday afternoon due to a gas leak.

According the Tulsa Fire Department, a one-inch line was accidentally cut near 41st and Mingo when city crews were repairing a sewer line.

Crews responded to the scene and shut off the leak, but said some of the gas got into the sewage line, which forced the evacuations so the building could air out.

ONG crews are working to fix the break.
