Tulsa-Area Housekeepers Compete In Bed-Making Contest

Dozens of  Tulsa housekeepers faced off at the Downtown Hyatt Monday to see who could tuck and fold the fastest. The bed-making contest was a fun activity the Metro Tulsa Hotel and Lodging Association put on as part of International Housekeeping Week.

Bed-making speed and neatness helped contestants move to the finals. The fastest time was one minute and 36 seconds. 

The top three housekeepers all walked away with cash prizes. 

First Place: Yessenia Aguirre, Hampton Inn Broken Arrow

Second Place: Abigail Kellam, DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Tulsa

Third Place: Angie Salvador, Hilton Garden Inn Tulsa Airport
