Sapulpa BBQ Fundraiser Held For Families Of Murdered Men

A Sapulpa barbecue restaurant held a benefit to raise money for the families of two men killed in Midwest City earlier this month.

A Sapulpa barbecue restaurant held a benefit to raise money for the families of two men killed in Midwest City earlier this month. Sapulpa Police Captain Trey Pritchard and his cousin, Dr. Jeffrey Grafton. 

People were able to order anything off I AM BBQ's regular menu, and 100 percent of the proceeds will be divided between the two families.

The fundraiser was 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at 808 East Taft in Sapulpa. I AM BBQ hosts regular fundraising events called "Smokin' for a Cause" to help out the community.

Pritchard and Grafton were killed Saturday, August 15, 2015, at a Midwest City hotel room where police say they'd gone to retrieve a truck stolen by Grafton's son. Johnny Grafton and his girlfriend Daphne Mason were arrested in the deaths.
