A five-year-old boy was wounded when someone fired a gun through the window of a Tulsa home Thursday night, according to police.

Officers said the boy is in critical condition.

Police said the shooting happened at about 11 p.m. in the 2100 block of North Martin Luther King Boulevard, just north of Burroughs Elementary School.

The boy was staying with his aunt. Police said the bullet hit the boy in the neck, then traveled through the lung and out the boy's back.  Officers say beside the boy there were five people in the home, including four adults and another child. None of them were injured.
