Mannford Man Arrested On Child Sexual Abuse Warrant Out Of Texas

Authorities arrested a Mannford man Wednesday morning on a child sex abuse warrant out of Mesquite, Texas.  

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says police in Mesquite talked to a juvenile who told them he had been repeatedly sexually abused by 52-year-old David Earl Myers III.  Police said the juvenile was also involved in child pornography.  

Texas authorities obtained a warrant for Myers and Wednesday, the OSBI along with Tulsa Police, Tulsa County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Marshals arrested Myers at his workplace in the 3500 block of Sheridan Road.  

In a news release, the OSBI says a search of Myers' home uncovered several items of evidence that supported the juvenile's claims of child sexual abuse and child pornography.
  
Myers was booked into the Tulsa County jail and is awaiting extradition back to Texas.
