Semi Runs Off Highway 169 Near 41st Street In Tulsa

A semi driver apparently lost control on the wet road and slid into a ditch on northbound Highway 169 just south of 41st Street in Tulsa. Police say the truck hydroplaned while trying to merge onto the highway from the BA Expressway.

It happened just before 8 a.m. Sunday.

Police blocked traffic on the highway as two wreckers pulled the big rig back on the road. An ambulance was on scene briefly, but there are believed to be no serious injuries.

The roadway was clear by 10 a.m. Lanes were closed for about an hour as the wreckers cleared the highway.
