A former Jay High School coach is back in jail facing new charges.
Friday evening, officers arrested Cory Henton in Bartlesville on five new charges, including lewd molestation, rape by instrumentation and second-degree rape.
In March, Henton was arrested because of reports he had a relationship with a 15-year-old female student.
According to an affidavit, on March 22, 2015 Henton went to the high school principal's office and told him about a rumor that he and a 15-year-old were in a gym locker room together and the door was locked.
On March 23, Henton was asked to return to Bryant's office to speak with the superintendent and a Jay police officer, the affidavit says. According to the officer, Henton said he wouldn't talk in front of him without a lawyer.
The report says that once the interview between Henton, Bryant and the superintendent finished, Henton “stormed off and left” before the officer could speak with him.
The affidavit says on March 24, three students went to Bryant and told them they went to the open gym event and said they became “suspicious of Henton and the student's actions and began to watch the two close.”
The students said when it was time to leave they waived as if they were going but went back to the gym. The report says they didn't see the two but remembered them being near the equipment room. They said when they tried to open the door they couldn't.
According to the report, the students said when Henton and the girl came out, she was “obviously embarrassed, red-faced and was panting.”
Bryant later found school surveillance video supporting the students' story.
At the time, Henton was booked on two counts of lewd molestation.
