Tulsa Firefighters were called to an unusual rescue at the Tulsa International Airport. It happened right next to a UPS cargo plane.

Firefighters rescued a kitten that fell down a drain. The kitten somehow fell and got stuck in the drain just a few feet from a UPS cargo plane on the tarmac.

Several firefighters had to use a pully system to lift a grate out of the ground and get down to the kitten.

It’s not clear how the kitten got there, but we're told firefighters were able to rescue it with no problems.

"Thanks to their compassion and assistance, the kitten is now resting comfortably and has a permanent home with one of the UPS employees," the TIA Facebook post reads.

To make the story even better, one of the UPS employees has decided to adopt that kitten.
