Tahlequah Police say the department has cleared the officer who shot and killed a man in June and the officer has returned to duty.
Officer Randy Tanner shot Joshua Crittenden on June 27, 2015 when Crittenden, 35, jumped out of an attic and pointed a gun at Tanner, according to police.
Chief Nate King said the department's internal investigation cleared Tanner. He said the Cherokee County DA's office is still reviewing the report, which is 200 pages, and has not announced its decision on whether to file any charges.

Three days after the shooting the department released body camera video recorded by another officer. It shows officers responding to a fight. It doesn't show the officer shooting the suspect, but the gunfire is audible.
Tanner is a 15-year veteran of the force.
