Man Dies After Being Hit By Train In Nowata

A man is dead after he was hit by train in Nowata. It happened just after 7 p.m. Tuesday on the tracks at U.S. Highway 169.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the man was walking on the tracks when a northbound Union Pacific train hit him.

The man died at the scene. He has not been identified.
