A Collinsville family received an unexpected delivery when a car landed on their mailbox. We're told no one was injured in the crash.
It happened Tuesday afternoon in the 16000 block of North 157th East Avenue, just north of Highway 20. Neighbors said they knew the driver who left the scene after getting his car stuck on a brick fence and mailbox.
Front airbags deployed, and there was damage to the front end of the car and windshield.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigated the incident.
The driver returned and told the trooper he'd left to get his insurance papers.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper said the homeowners will work out the cost of the damage with the driver, who lives nearby.
