Oilers Set To Take On Thunder In Preseason Game

The Tulsa Oilers announced on Friday the details of a preseason game against the Wichita Thunder.

The Tulsa Oilers, ECHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose and Winnipeg Jets, announced on Friday the details of a preseason game against the Wichita Thunder.

The Central Division rivals will match up for the exhibition clash on Saturday, October 10 at 4:00 p.m. at the Wichita Ice Center (505 W Maple St, Wichita, KS 67213).  The contest against the Thunder will be the Oilers’ one and only preseason tilt.  Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the door on the day of the game. 

The Oilers and Thunder will face off again six days later at the BOK Center on October 16 at 7:05 p.m. for the opening game of the 2015-16 regular season.  Tulsa and Wichita will battle 13 times during the upcoming season and for the third consecutive year, the winner of the season series will capture the StoneWolf Casino Cup.
