Man Arrested For Sexual Assault In Tulsa Apartment

Tulsa police have arrested a man in a sexual assault reported Wednesday at the Brightwater Apartments on Southwest Boulevard.

Emmanuel Thomas, 27, was arrested early Thursday.

Police said the victim was approached by a man outside her apartment who asked for a cigarette.  They said he later knocked on her door and at some point he came into the apartment and assaulted her.

Police are also working another rape case in midtown. A woman at the Lakewood Apartments, near 41st Street and Sheridan Road, reported an unknown man attacked her at 4 a.m.

She told police the attacker covered her face during the assault.

Police have not made an arrest in that case.
