Pickup Crashes Into Tulsa Apartment

Firefighters helped board up the front of a Tulsa apartment after a pickup struck it Wednesday night.  

Police said EMSA took the driver to the hospital after her truck hit a unit of the Brownstone Apartments in the 3700 block of East Skelly Drive near Harvard. 

Officers believe the woman hit the gas pedal instead of the brake, causing the pickup to jump a curb and hit the apartment at about 10:30 p.m.

Police say the driver was not seriously injured. The man in the apartment wasn't hurt.
