Will Rogers Turnpike Reopened To Creek Turnpike At Catoosa

The Department of Public Safety says the westbound exit onto Interstate 44 from the Will Rogers Turnpike in Catoosa has been reopened after it was closed on Saturday afternoon due to construction traffic.

People coming into Tulsa from the Will Rogers were diverted onto the Creek Turnpike starting about 4 p.m.

Jack Damrill of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority encouraged drivers to avoid the area if possible.

By 8 p.m., all lanes were open and moving as usual.
