The Midwest Harp Festival is underway at the University of Tulsa's Lorton Performance Center.
The six-day festival has several workshops, classes, and speakers for harpists. There are also music writing competitions and concerts - several of which are free to the public.
According to some of the harpists, attending one of the concerts could be good for your heart.
"The harp is known to physically lower the heart rate. People enjoy the harp, and it's very relaxing, and they come and they have a very relaxing evening," said festival director, Lorelei Barton.
It's not too late to catch a free concert. There will be one Tuesday night at 7:30 and another Saturday morning at 11:00.
You can get more information about the festival online.
