A Taekwondo competition brought about 400 competitors to Tulsa this weekend.
The United Taekwondo Alliance 2015 Summer Nationals was held at the Southern Hills Marriott.
Students from Jenks and Broken Arrow were among the competitors who had to break boards and high-kick their way to a podium.
Experienced black belts all the way down to children as young as 4-years-old competed.
"We have children that drove as far as Illinois –- 4 years old -- just to compete in this tournament today,” Jason Wadley of United Taekwondo Alliance said. “It's really exciting.”
Funds raised at the competition go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
