A motorcyclist was killed after hitting a deer on a Creek County road Friday night. The fatality crash took place around 9:30 p.m. on Milfay Road just north of 211th Street South, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

William Lawrence Bernal was northbound on Milfay Road when he struck a deer, went off the roadway and hit a tree. The 28-year-old Stroud resident was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigating trooper said Bernal was in apparently normal condition before the wreck, and the cause of the collision is listed as deer in roadway. Bernal was not wearing a helmet, the collision report states.
