A Henryetta mechanic with a unique recently refurbished a 60-year-old Caterpiller Dozer, but that's not all he can do with his hands.
Don Herrold has a long relationship with Caterpiller and wanted to get an old 1953 Caterpiller D6 9U Dozer back to life, so he took it to Dan Schuck.
"My great uncle, and my grandfather, and my grandmother on my mother's side all retired from Caterpiller in East Peoria Illinois," he said.
Dan loves old machines and owns J and L Diesel Service in Henryetta, but he also has a passion for the violin.
He began the violin in fifth grade, dropped it because it just wasn't cool in High School and picked it up again as an adult.
Now he plays in the TCC community orchestra, and at Asbury Methodist.
Music is an emotional experience for him; he believes the instrument is talking when he plays, he's just assisting.
