Zion Church Holds Prayer Service for Charleston Shooting Victims

TULSA, Oklahoma. - Varick Chapel AME Zion Church will hold a prayer service on Monday night to remember the shooting victims from Charleston, South Carolina. The prayer service will be held on 6 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at the Varick Chapel AME Zion Church.

On June 17, authorities say Dylann Roof shot and killed nine church members inside the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Churches across the country have held prayer services for the victims over this past week to remember the victims and the families that were affected.

The church is located is at 2716 N. Yorktown Avenue.
