Bixby High School Rounds Up Well-Known Names To Help Host Football Camp

Bixby High School is hosting an offensive and defensive line camp June 23rd and 24th for grades 7-12. 

The camp hosted for lineman by lineman will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. both days and will be run by Bixby head coach and former Northeastern State University lineman Loren Montgomery.

Alongside him to help assist the camp will be some well-known names in football, including Broken Arrow high school head football coach and ten-year NFL veteran David Alexander, Tulsa alumni and NFL veteran offensive lineman Jerry Ostroski, former Jenks Trojan and NFL center Sean Mahan, hall of fame offensive line coach (for Barry Switzer at the University of Oklahoma) Charley North and Oklahoma All-American and Arena veteran Bruce McClure. Tulsa All-Conference offensive lineman and Oklahoma Coaches Association All-Stater Jake Alexander will also be in attendance to help with the camp.

9:30 a.m. - Registration

10:00 a.m. - Guest speaker, run game progressions, trap and power pull techniques, hawg jousting preliminary rounds

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.- Lunch

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.- Pass protection drills, one-on-one pass pro, hawg jousting preliminaries, guest speaker


10:00 a.m. - Guest speaker, run game progressions, hawg jousting semi-finals

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.- Lunch

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Pass protection drills, review, one-on-one pass pro

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.- Hawg jousting finals, lineman challenge, camp awards
