Most Wanted Bulletin Issued For Tulsa Murder Suspect

Tulsa Police have issued a Most Wanted bulletin for a man suspected in a shooting death. Authorities said Roderick Latour Whiteside is wanted for first-degree murder in the death of 27-year-old Cedrick Gilmer.

Gilmer was shot and killed at the Studio 6 Motel at 8181 East 41st Street. Investigators said Gilmer went to a party at the motel after posting on Facebook that he was carrying a large amount of cash. The motive for his murder is believed to be robbery.

Police said Whiteside, 25, went to the party with at least one other man to rob Gilmer who was shot during a struggle.

He is described as a black male, 5'9" and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He will be held without bond when captured, the bulletin states.
