One person died in a crash on Highway 75 on the south side of Bartlesville Monday afternoon.

The crash happened at the intersection of Rice Creek Road at about 2:45 p.m.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2015 Jeep was westbound on County Road 2200 when it collided with a 2010 Jeep heading northbound on Highway 75.

The report says the 2015 Jeep, driven by 78-year-old Richard Earl Javine of Barnsdall, failed to yield from the stop sign and collided with the other Jeep.  The OHP said Javine was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other Jeep, driven by 63-year-old Rita Calvert of Ochelata had two minor passengers - 3 and 5 years old - with her.

The report says Calvert and the 3-year-old were transported to a Tulsa hospital and are in stable condition. The 5-year-old was not injured.

Bartlesville Police and the OHP closed all lanes of the highway while troopers investigated the crash.
