Police say a Tulsa teen was treated for minor injuries after escaping an abductor Sunday evening in the 2400 block of East Newton.

The victim told police she had just walked her friend to the Job Corps office on North Lewis when a car pulled up and a teen armed with a handgun told her to get inside.

Police said the teen described her abductor as a black male between 16 to 20 years of age, 5'6" to 5'8", with short hair and wearing a black shirt and khaki shorts. She said he took her keys and cell phone and then drove off.

When the driver stopped at Wheeling and Newton, the victim saw someone she knew, screamed and opened the passenger side door and jumped out of the car, she told police.

Police said EMSA paramedics treated the victim for minor scrapes and bruises but did not take her to the hospital.

The victim described the car as an older model four-door black over silver Buick with dark tinted windows.
