Tulsa Police: Woman Stabbed Over Cell Phone

A fight between two women over a cell phone left one in the hospital and the other in jail, according to Tulsa Police. Around 3 a.m. Sunday, police say they were called to the Fiesta Two Apartments at 2523 East 8th Street where a woman had been stabbed in the hand.

Officers say the women were apparently arguing over a cell phone.

During the fight, Izetta Watie allegedly pulled out a knife and cut the 23-year-old victim across her left hand. Police say they caught up to Watie as she rode a bicycle near the complex.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to the hospital.

Watie was booked on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon. She is being held on a $30,000 bond.
