Oklahoma Bear Cub Has New Home In Texas

A black bear cub captured last week in a hog trap near McAlester has a new home in Texas. 

The man who caught the three-month-old cub, Greg Gideo brought it to his home in Texas and was keeping it in chicken coop. Authorities found the cub this week in Corinth north of Dallas wandering the neighborhood after it escaped its cage. 

A Texas wildlife sanctuary recaptured the cub.

Corinth Police say Gideo now faces charges of possessing a dangerous animal without the proper permits.
