Police Looking For Man In Tulsa Check Fraud Investigation

Tulsa Police are searching for a man they say is a person of interest in a fraud investigation. Detective Sergeant Ali Maurer said the man has gotten away with several thousand dollars in cash.

"He's going in and depositing checks into an account that's not his," she said.

"All the checks are coming back as 'altered/fictious,' but the money has been withdrawn."

The man is operating in a range of areas, around Cincinnati and Pine to Lewis and 31st Street.
