The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is rolling out a lot more orange barrels, and that could impact Green Country commutes for months. The $5.3 million projects will take a few months to complete.

Crews have begun a resurfacing project along Interstate 44 and Highway 412 near Catoosa.

The next project will be Interstate 244 from the Arkansas River to the U.S. Highway 75 junction.

In July, they'll begin resurfacing the Broken Arrow Expressway from the IDL downtown to Lewis Avenue.

Next, they will move over from to Highway 169 between 21st Street and 51st Street.
