Woman Hurt In Rollover Wreck In Downtown Tulsa

A wreck involving a car and an SUV in downtown Tulsa Monday morning sent one person to the hospital.

The vehicles collided at the intersection of 8th and Boulder and one of the vehicles ended up on its side.

Tulsa Police say a man driving a car tried to beat the traffic light and hit an SUV, causing the SUV to roll onto its side.

Tulsa firefighters had to use special equipment to stabilize the SUV before rescuing the woman from it.

Officers said the injuries to the woman driving the SUV were not life-threatening.
